Apple Watch inventory app: an easier way to check stock
Time per task, maxed out. Tana works on Apple Watch, so you can manage inventory in a simpler way than ever.

Taking out your phone is a bigger chore than it sounds. In a warehouse, a kitchen, a clinic or on the shop floor, you pull out your phone, open the app, find the item you want… and that is a hassle. Each trip takes only a few minutes, but those tiny tasks pile up, and before long they add up to a real loss of time.
What if you could manage inventory from an Apple Watch? Maybe you could skip that lost time and use your day better. That hunch is how Tana for Apple Watch started.
Let me be upfront: Tana on Apple Watch does not replace your phone or your computer. It only does the things that are quick to handle on a wrist and that make you more productive. Here is where Tana for Apple Watch fits.
A small screen, higher productivity
The more people on a team, the more often something runs out of stock. When your phone is stuck in a bag or a locker, your Apple Watch can still receive the low-stock alert.
Or say you went to the warehouse for a stock count and forgot your phone. You can still restock from your Apple Watch.
Use your watch, phone and computer for what each does best
Tana already worked on iPhone, iPad, Android and in macOS/Windows browsers. With Apple Watch added, you can pick the right device for each job even better.
| Task | Apple Watch | Phone | Computer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Check stock alerts at a glance | Great | Good | Good |
| Quick stock count in the warehouse | Great | Good | Poor fit |
| Scan labels and barcodes | Not possible | Great | OK with the browser camera |
| Set up items, locations and labels | Not possible | Tiring | Great |
| Export data | Not possible | Good | Great |
